About the role

We’ve teamed up with Glasgow Caledonian University to offer graduate apprentices the chance to join our Accounts department while they study towards a master’s degree in accounting (MAcc) and a professional accountancy qualification.

This innovative, fully funded apprenticeship is an exciting opportunity to earn while you learn – and achieve chartered status in just five years.

Why choose a graduate apprenticeship?

  • Earn while you learn – from the moment you start, you’ll earn the living wage before moving onto a salary in Year 3 of the programme.
  • Gain valuable practical skills on the job while working alongside Arnold Clark’s experienced Accounts team.
  • Qualify as an accountant quicker than the traditional university route, while also gaining professional on-the-job experience.
  • No/less student debt – tuition fees are fully funded by the Scottish Funding Council, meaning you can graduate with no student-fee debt.

As an Arnold Clark employee, you’ll also enjoy the following benefits:

  • 33 days' annual leave
  • Generous employee discounts
  • Private healthcare
  • Workplace pension
  • Opportunities for training and career development
  • ...and much more

This role will be split between your Arnold Clark branch and Glasgow Caledonian University. We have roles available in Glasgow, Linwood and Bishopbriggs, and you must be able to travel to the university.
