Hours
This is a full-time role: Monday – Thursday, 8am – 4.30pm; Friday, 8am – 3.30pm.
About the role
In this role, you will assist time-served tradesmen on the build of commercial vehicles and help to provide our customers with a first-class service, all while gaining skills and developing your expertise, including the ability to work on your own initiative.
This role will suit an enthusiastic individual who is keen and willing to learn new skills. The role is of a physical nature with a degree of manual handling and will suit someone who would enjoy working with their hands in a manufacturing industry.
Day-to-day duties
- Assisting employees on the construction of commercial vehicles in an efficient and professional manner.
- Learning to use engineering drawings and bills of materials.
- Quality control of completed vehicles.
- Keeping detailed paperwork.
- Maintaining company tools and equipment and a clean and organised work environment.

Nice to have but not essential…
- Though an understanding of Microsoft Excel is required for the role, training may be available for the right candidate.
