Job Title: Administration Apprentice – Funding Administration

Location: GTG Training Centre, West Midlands

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administration Apprentice to join our Funding Administration team. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in administrative functions, with a primary focus on funding processes, while also supporting other administrative duties as required by business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Funding Administration Support:
    • Assist in processing apprenticeship paperwork, ensuring compliance with GTG procedures and funding regulations.
    • Maintain and update electronic management information systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
    • Support the preparation and submission of funding claims and related documentation.
  • General Administrative Duties:
    • Provide routine clerical support, including filing, photocopying, and handling correspondence.
    • Assist in managing incoming and outgoing communications, ensuring timely responses to inquiries.
  • Data Management:
    • Input and maintain accurate data records, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Generate reports and assist in data analysis
  • Customer Service:
    • Provide a friendly and professional point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
    • Address general inquiries and direct specific queries to appropriate team members.

Requirements:

  • Educational Qualifications:
    • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics at grade C/4 or above.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when required.
    • A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.

    • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.

Apprenticeship Details:

  • Training Provided:
    • Enrolment in a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship program.
    • Comprehensive on-the-job training with support from experienced mentors.
  • Duration:
    • Approximately 18 months, with potential opportunities for progression upon completion.
